Dear Tulelake Parents,
The afternoon 4:30 Newell bus route is going to be unavailable for a couple months. Designated Newell TASSEL students will be transported with suburbans, but no transportation will be available at 4:30 for all other students. This will begin Monday afternoon. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will let you know when the 4:30 bus route is available again. There will be no changes to the morning or after school routes.

Students at Tulelake Basin Elementary share their hopes for 2024
The JV Boys game has been cancelled by Klamath Union, the Varsity Girls game against Happy Camp will start at 5:00 pm tonight followed by the Varsity Boys vs. Happy Camp.
Come out TONIGHT and support Honker Basketball! All three teams play at home, with JV boys starting at 3:30. The 8th grade class is hosting concessions, with POZOLE on the menu!
6th graders at TBES aren’t just the oldest kids in the school-They are preparing for junior high by bonding and meeting in groups each week. The groups focus on respecting one’s self, respecting others, and learning how to navigate through the various social interactions that everyone encounters in life. Gena Long helped TBES pilot the girls’ group last year. She is an Educational Specialist who works for the Modoc Criss Center/T.E.A.C.H and she returned this year. Last year Bill Engel launched the boys’ group. This year Mr. Mendoza took over the boys’ group. Mr. Mendoza is a PE teacher at TBES and THS and has a sixth grade daughter in the program at TBES.
