
The Class of 2026 is hosting concessions at the Lost River V. Tulelake Baseball game this Thursday, May 1st! They will open at 2 pm and close after the 2nd inning of the 2nd game. Hamburgers, chips, and popsicles! Come out and support Honker Baseball and the Class of 2026!


Honoring one of our own. Ms. McKoen received the honor of Athletic Director of the year for the Northern Section California Interscholastic Federation. Congratulations Ms. McKoen. Award presented by Scott Johnson, NSCIF Section Commissioner. Here's Ms. McKoen's biography: Tricia McKoen is a dedicated Health and Physical Education teacher with 25 years of experience at Tulelake High School. She has also coached volleyball, basketball, and softball and served as the school’s Athletic Director for 5 years. Tricia holds a Master’s in Sports Administration and has been a strong leader in the sports community, serving as the California Conference Chairman and the NSADA Female Representative on the CIF Executive Committee. Under her leadership, Tulelake High School added three new sports programs. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Tricia is most proud of her two children, aged 19 and 23, whom she considers her greatest achievements. She enjoys raising miniature donkeys, spending time at the lake, and watching sports. Tricia’s favorite quote is, “Play a sport. It will teach you how to win honorably, lose gracefully, respect authority, work with others, manage your time, and stay out of trouble.”

This is an Adult Education Career Training opportunity for adults in our community!
This 140-hour pre-apprenticeship training is designed to introduce participants to various fields within construction while preparing them for union apprenticeship programs. Training includes:

Hands-On Experience

Tulelake Elementary School is having a Fun Run! Students will be collecting donations from April 14-24th. Students who collect $25 or more will get a t-shirt with color thrown at them to create a fun colorful shirt! Donations benefit the current and future 4th graders who attend the traditional Gold Country Field Trip each year. The run will take place on Friday, April 25th.


The California FFA 2025 State Leadership Conference is an annual event that brings together FFA members from across the state to enhance their leadership skills, engage in networking opportunities, and participate in workshops and competitions. The conference featured keynote speakers, interactive sessions, and activities designed to foster personal growth and develop agricultural knowledge. This event aims to inspire students to become future leaders in agriculture and their communities while promoting the FFA mission of personal, academic, and career success. Thank you Mr. Schaad and Mrs. Declusion for allowing our students to participate in such an enriching experience!

The Tulelake High School Dance Team is hosting a Spring Dance Workshop for students in Preschool - 6th grade! Students will learn a dance on April 14 (Wens),16 (Thurs), and 18 (Fri) in the Tulelake High School Gym from 5-6 pm. They will perform at the Senior Taco Lunch on Saturday, April 19th at the Honker. The cost is $30 per student and includes a t-shirt. You can sign your student up in the THS or TES office. We hope to see you there!
